WYDOT invites citizens to review potential solutions for Wind River Canyon resiliency
Riverton and Thermopolis, Wyo – The Wyoming Department of Transportation invites citizens to learn about potential solutions being considered through the Wind River Canyon Resiliency Study.
Public feedback and technical work have helped the study team understand safety, travel, and infrastructure needs throughout the canyon.
At a pair of public meetings in October in Riverton and Thermopolis, the study team will share what it learned and explain how that information has shaped potential solutions for improving future canyon resiliency.
Each 5:30 p.m. meeting will begin with a short presentation and video flythrough highlighting key locations in the canyon.
An open house will follow, giving participants time to review information, ask questions and share feedback before recommendations are finalized.
